EPISODE – 3: The Power Of The Subconscious


The human mind is amazing, and not fully understood, but is known to be extremely powerful. If it is used incorrectly it can work against you, but if you learn how to control it and harness it’s power, it can become a seriously formidable ally. Your subconscious has a massive influence over your behaviour, from physical actions down to body language, facial expressions, thought processes, your personality, and how you approach situations and respond and react to the world. It responds to the information fed into it from your conscious mind, and then actively makes it happen, by making your behaviour fit the pattern of your thoughts, hopes, and desires.

EPISODE – 4: Creating Positivity Using Affirmations


Have you ever heard anyone talk to themselves in a reassuring way, repeating phrases along the lines of “I can do this,” “I’ve got what it takes,” or “Everything’s just fine”? These positive statements to oneself are called “affirmations.” Affirmations are very powerful, strong, concise and clear assertions that cut through the mental ruckus and help you move forwards in difficult times. Using them properly is like repeatedly thumping depression and anxiety with a bat.

Engaging with other people can be stressful and frightening for many of us, especially if you find yourself the centre of attention such as performing or making a presentation. This video describes methods to display strength and courage, overcome fear and anxiety, and hit people with a powerful and assertive image.

EPISODE – 10: What Is MINDFULNESS And How Does It Help?

This video explains what MINDFULNESS is, and how it helps in the quest for mental health and wellbeing. Mindfulness is essentially a technique for focussing on the present moment, the here-and-now, rather than becoming distracted by thoughts of the past, gloomy predictions of an uncertain future, or being pulled sideways into other issues and concerns. The mind is at it’s best when focussing on one thing at a time, and being mindful ensures this is the case.

EPISODE – 11: HAPPINESS. What Is It? What Does It Mean To You?

What is HAPPINESS? What does it mean to you? Happiness is different things to different people, but in many cases, happiness is believed to be something that has to be “acquired” from outside somehow. In this video, I explore the meaning of true happiness, which in fact comes from within. Anyone has what it takes to be happy.

Message Of Thanks | Mental Health & Wellbeing

A few months ago, I made the difficult decision to speak out about my long-standing battle with depression and anxiety. The response to this from family, friends and colleagues has been overwhelming, all offering empathy and support, and I would like to say a big “thank you” for this, as I no longer feel isolated. I also started my Wreck To Rockstar YouTube channel around this time to offer guidance to those facing similar struggles, which has now gone past 100 subscribers and 20,000 views. Again, thank you to everyone who has supported me – someday, somehow, I will find a way to repay this. Thank you.
